Indigenous Peoples' and Community Conserved Areas and Territories Consortium

The ICCA Consortium (established at a gathering during the 4th World Conservation Congress in 2008) is an international association dedicated to promoting the appropriate recognition of and support to ICCAs (Indigenous Peoples’ and Community Conserved Areas and Territories) in the regional, national and global arena.

It is comprised of members of indigenous people organisations, community-based organisations, civil society organisations working with indigenous people and local communities and honorary members (individuals with relevant concerns and expertise relating to ICCAs). The website contains useful publications although some links on the resources and tools section are now out of date.
