The 'Terrestrial Ecoregions of the World' dataset has been updated to 846 ecoregions and used for an analysis of current and potential future protection. In addition, an interactive global map of the Ecoregions 2017 with protection status by region can be viewed at: ecoregions2017.appspot.com
