In a bid to protect plants from pests in the Cook Islands, the Ministry of Agriculture has endorsed the International Year of Plant 2020. At the second Pacific Week of Agriculture that was held in Samoa earlier this month, Agriculture minister Rose Brown and secretary Temarama Anguna-Kamana joined 21 Pacific island countries delegation in Samoa to officially endorse the strategy.
