The Council of Ministers (COM) has revoked its decision to establish a Ministry of Fisheries, Ocean and Maritime Affairs. The COM made the decision during its meeting on Malekula in October last year, following the Prime Minister's announcement on Independence Day. In its meeting early this month, COM instructed the Prime Minister's Office to re-submit the paper following provisions of the Government Act.
