On 2 June 2020 the BIOPAMA Action Component launched the call for proposals for Rapid Response Grants. The Rapid Response Grants are designed to address the risks and difficulties induced by the COVID-19 crisis in African, Caribbean and Pacific countries. The funded projects are expected to increase the resilience of protected areas and local communities' livelihoods facing the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
