Each year, subject to the availability of funds, the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) publishes Federal Funding Opportunities (FFOs) in the Federal Register to solicit proposals for coral reef conservation activities, as authorized by the Coral Reef Conservation Act of 2000 (CRCA).
New Zealand Pacific Scholarships (NZPS) for Tertiary Level Education from the New Zealand Aid Programme.
A particular focus of New Zealand Pacific Scholarships (NZPS) is to increase the number of young students and high academic achievers studying in New Zealand and to build a new generation of Pacific leadership with strong links to New Zealand.
Funded by the New Zealand Aid Programme, the New Zealand Government’s international aid and development programme, NZPSs are available to candidates from: Cook Islands; Federated States of Micronesia; Fiji; Kiribati; Marshall Islands; Nauru; Niue; Palau; Papua New Guinea; Samoa; Solomon Islands; Tonga; Tuvalu; Vanuatu.
The three Sea Grant Focus Areas to be addressed through research for 2014-2016 are: Sustainable Coastal Development, Hazard Resilience Coastal Communities, and Sustainable Coastal Tourism.
A Request for Proposals (RFP) for UH Sea Grant Awards will be sent out towards the end of 2014. Faculty from universities and colleges, state, local and Indian tribal governments, organizations, and individuals in Hawai‘i and US Pacific territories are encouraged to apply.If you wish to learn more information about the RFP please contact [email protected]
