Spectacled fruit bats (flying-fox) are becoming a problem for Nature Park, migrating in and out of Port Moresby to breed and causing disruptions to commercial flights, says a bird expert.  During the final discussion of the second One Health Assessment Tool (OHAT) workshop, Thursday, Aug 15, team leader and expert on looking after birds at Nature Park, Rebecca Gaimbili told The National: " Spectacled fruit bats are considered pests and naturally, they have selected the Nature Park to be a breeding ground and have multiplied over to an unmanageable number.
