The Fourth International Marine Protected Areas Congress, IMPAC4, with the motto Marine Protected Areas: Bringing the people and ocean together, will take place next week in La Serena, from 4-8 September. IMPAC 4 will be one of the last milestones on the road to conferences on marine conservation before reaching the 2020 deadline for the Aichi Targets.
