The revamped Pacific Climate Change Portal is now online at www.pacificclimatechange.net.

Improved Features

Regional Search for Documents and Projects which indexes the metadata for Documents and Projects for the PCCP and partner sites such as the Pacific Disaster Network (PDN), Pacific Solution Exchange and the Fiji, Tonga ( to be included after national portal upgrades) and Vanuatu NAB Portal;

Donor Database – searchable database of funds relevant for the Pacific

Climate Change Projects Database – searchable database of climate change projects in the Pacific;

Documents Library searchable collection of over 1000 documents relevant to the Pacific.

Country profiles summary of climate change initiatives in 15 Pacific Island Countries and Territories.

Education Resources – searchable resources for education practitioners.

 

The new improved features will enhance the user experience and content discovery through the use of a predefined list of climate change topics used to tag the various content types. It also provides more user friendly user interfaces.

Currently In Development

Decision support tool for climate finance – to assist SPREP in its role as the executing entity for the Green Climate Fund and PICTs access to the GCF which should be available at the end of June.

Decision support tool for adaptation pathways – to assist decision makers in adaptation planning. Still in the preliminary stage.

 

Note, like any new software there will be teething problems thus we ask that you bear with us. Over the coming weeks we hope to complete data cleansing, upload remaining content and fix any bugs.
