Trial trainings this month on the offline map application called AVENZA with Live & Learn Vanuatu staff is intended to assist Vanuatu forest rangers in monitoring forest degradation, restoration projects and the natural ecosystem. Live & Learn Vanuatu Team Leader, Glarinda Andre and Nakua Technical Officer, Michael Dyer, said with the mapping software, Vanuatu’s conservation rangers could track and monitor the area they’re assigned to.
