Position Description
The Regional Project Manager leads a four-member regional team (Admin & Finance Officer, MEAL
Specialist, GEDSI Advisor, and Communications Officer) to ensure effective planning, coordination,
financing, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. Together with the team, the Regional Project
Manager works closely with partner organizations in Palau, FSM (Kosrae, Pohnpei, Yap), RMI, and
Nauru to successfully deliver on their commitments; including technical support, capacity building,
and troubleshooting as needed to keep activities on track.
The Regional Project Manager is an expected full-time staff position reporting to the OneReef Director
of Programs, with the ability to work across multiple time zones and outside of normal business
hours.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Project Management and Administration
a. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operation/execution of the project to ensure the
achievement of project objectives, outputs, and activities;
b. Plan, secure, allocate and maintain the resources necessary to achieve the project objectives
and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner;
c. Develop comprehensive/detailed project work-plans that include all project activities and roles
and responsibilities of the stakeholders, scheduling, setting-out corresponding milestones, and
resource utilization/mobilization;
d. Develop and implement a project management plan and system for organizing, monitoring, and
reporting the project progress;
e. Supervise and assist the Project Admin-Finance Officer with:
