President Surangel Whipps Jr. said Palau is still on track to host the Our Oceans Conference but looking into scheduling it for early 2022. “We’re still planning to host our oceans here. We’ve been having discussions with our partners. Initially, we were thinking in October, our partners have advised us…. So they think it’s too tight to have it in October. “ Whipps said, hosting it in early 2022 will give people and partners planning to fly to Palau to attend the conference, to get vaccinated.
