The Papua New Guinea Forest Authority (PNGFA) launched three projects in East Sepik this week. They are the declaration of East Sepik as the first forest carbon trading platform; launching of the Hawaian LFA (local forest area) project which will now be converted to a forest management agreement (FMA) area and the announcement of the establishment of the first downstream processing facility of all forest and wood products in East Sepik.
