Sharks may have a reputation as cold-hearted killing machines, but they are actually rather good at making and keeping friends, a study finds. Researchers have found that sharks are highly community-minded, forming social networks built on friendships that can last for years...The study tracked 41 grey reef sharks for four years in the Pacific Ocean and found some pairs stayed together for the entire duration of the research.
