The Vanuatu Department of Fisheries (VFD) hosted its 1-day Coastal Fisheries symposium on the 9th of December. It brought together government, non-government and community stakeholders to strengthen collaborations, share experiences and discuss on how to better support coastal fisheries development....Some key activities that were highlighted included various monitoring activities by VFD (e.g. sea cucumber harvest, fish trade through community solar freezers and tabu area effectiveness).
