The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands invites eligible and qualified firms to submit bids for consulting services to support the formulation of the regional project “Building Sustainable, Inclusive, and Climate-Resilient Tourism in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands,” targeting the Adaptation Fund.

GGGI has been supporting both countries since 2018–2019 through initiatives that strengthen climate resilience, promote sustainable development, and enhance inclusive growth. Tourism remains a vital but climate-vulnerable sector for both PNG and the Solomon Islands, and this project aims to foster climate-smart tourism by strengthening governance systems, improving access to climate information, enhancing opportunities for women and youth, supporting inclusive enterprises, and protecting ecosystems through nature-based solutions. The project will focus on New Ireland, Milne Bay, and East New Britain in PNG, and Western, Central, and Malaita in the Solomon Islands.
