Fape is launching the Natura Porinetia Fund, a mechanism designed to support associations committed to preserving the environment. Supported by Tahiti Tourisme, this initiative will be reinforced by an online donation platform – called Hina – which will allow visitors to actively contribute to the development of more sustainable tourism.

Preserving Polynesian ecosystems while promoting tourism that respects the environment and local communities: this is the objective of the Natura Porinetia Fund, launched by the Federation of Environmental Protection Associations (Fape) – Te Ora Naho. A real financial lever, this fund aims to provide concrete support to local associations working for nature conservation, waste reduction, decarbonization and sustainable resource management . “This project was launched in 2023 to solve the problem of financing associations (...) The idea is for Fape to become an interface between businesses and associations,” explained Jean-Claude Foglia, member of Fape, during a press conference this Thursday morning, announcing the creation of this new fund.
