he value of using natural resources to address sustainable development challenges, such as climate change, food security, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), was examined at the "Aligning Ecosystem-based Adaptation and Nature-based Solutions in Vanuatu" workshop, held in Port Vila on 5 and 6 September.
The high-level workshop was facilitated by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) to improve understanding of the overlap between Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) approaches. The goal was to enable positive environmental and socio-economic outcomes for Vanuatu communities.
