Scientists on board a Sea Shepherd vessel say they found a new species of beaked whale near the San Benito Islands off Mexico’s Pacific coast. The species differs visually and acoustically from other beaked whales species, according to the researchers...other experts say that detailed descriptions of the animals’ physical features and skeletal structure are needed before a new species can be accurately identified.
