The RRIS is an online information system bringing together relevant information to support decision-making for planning, designating and managing protected areas. It has a strong emphasis on geospatial data and information (maps, geo-referenced measurements and observations, satellite and aerial imagery) while also integrating web services and authoritative reference, data from other organisations and institutions.
