The Pacific Community (SPC) invites applications for the position of Senior Specialist, Oceanography located at its regional office in Suva, Fiji.

The Senior Specialist, Oceanography will develop and implement solutions to ocean and coastal management issues for the peoples and governments of Pacific Community member countries and territories, enabling them to improve their capacities, plan, manage and develop their natural resources in a sustainable way. This will be achieved through the application and development of scientific tools, such as numerical modelling and applied research in the context of Small Island Developing States ‒ Large Ocean States.
