Living in harmony with nature by 2050 is the goal of a new set of global biodiversity targets to be achieved between 2020 – 2030, targets which the Pacific islands will also be committed to reaching. To help halt the loss of biodiversity, Pacific islands came together with over 190 countries to develop the 2020 Aichi Global Biodiversity Targets in 2010.
