The Convention on Biological Diversity's (CBD) regional and/or subregional centres of the technical and scientific cooperation centres were established at the 15th CBD COP as mechanism to assist in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the work of the convention and its protocols.
