This is a partnership research-conservation project on the coastal biodiversity of the islands of the Society of French Polynesia. Fa'atura te Tahatai carries out operations to restore native coastal vegetation and will disseminate a protocol based on scientific data thanks to feedback from concrete actions. This participatory project, the first phase of which began in 2021, is continuing.

Last Thursday, in Paea, a second-year class from John-Doom high school discovered the Fa'atura te Tahatai project. The students, enrolled in the nature, garden, landscape and forest (NJPF) stream, were delighted to be outdoors to understand the issues and practices of this project. After a description, they took action by planting native species by the sea.
