Ms. Yvonne Ueda is the Palau Conservation manager for The Nature Conservancy. A Palau native, she brings experience in conservation, community-based coastal fisheries management, and community and government relations to her role. In her current position, she leads day-to-day project implementation and strategy in the Republic of Palau. Previously, Ms. Ueda spearhead coastal fisheries projects and aspects of the Nature Conservancy’s Indo-Pacific Tuna Program. Her 12 years of government service as a Foreign Service Officer honed her skills in international relations and negotiations. Ms. Ueda is a dedicated mother of two and passionate advocate for Palau’s unique environment and community well-being.
