Fijiโs plan to conserve and sustainably manage 30 per cent of its marine areas by 2030 is a serious national policy aimed at protecting both the environment and the economy. Opening the 30x30 Data Working Group meeting yesterday in Suva, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry Alitia Bainivalu told representatives that the countryโs ocean is not only a natural resource but itโs also our national identity.
