The spread of Little Fire Ant (LFA) is directly causing problems to people’s livelihood in many parts of Vanuatu. It is now spotted at many new sites in different parts of the country, such as in West Ambae — Saranamundu village, and North West Malekula — Willak Village. These occurrences have been confirmed by a technical team of government officers that have been monitoring and placing control measures for this invasive species.
