The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator for The Nature Conservancy’s Micronesia and Polynesia Program will support the design and implementation of MEL plans, and reporting of socio-economic, human well-being, and environmental outcomes across conservation projects in the region. This role includes developing and maintaining project data systems, tracking progress against key performance indicators for adaptive management, and assisting with the preparation of donor reports and internal learning products. The coordinator will work closely with conservation program staff to develop MEL plans, identify indicators and means of data collection, ensure data quality and timely reporting, while also facilitating knowledge sharing and learning sessions. In addition, the position will serve as a liaison with regional partners to harmonize MEL indicators and approaches, gather relevant data, and strengthen collaborative monitoring efforts that align with shared conservation goals. While prior experience in MEL is preferred, training is possible for candidates that are organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic to learn.
