Papua New Guinea will work together with all island nations in the region to maintain and sustain the refs and the ocean for the future generations. Mr. Tkatchenko, in his statement at the 4th Archipelagic Island State (AIS) Forum Ministerial Meeting in Bali, Indonesia, said oceans play an important role." Oceans and islands are an integral part of our countries, our oceans are key to our livelihoods, our economies , our cultural heritage and environment" he said.
