Conservation International and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation announced the official launch of Resilient Reefs Pasifika: the Samoa Reef Resilience Hub.  Samoa Reef Resilience Hub is designed to establish adaptive and climate-resilient solutions for coral reef ecosystems and the coastal communities that depend on them.  The initiative blends Indigenous and scientific knowledge with local leadership for ocean stewardship.

Conservation International Samoa received funding from the Great Barrier Reef Foundation to establish the grant facility hub, the first Resilience Hub to be established as part of the initiative. The Samoa Reef Resilience Hub will serve as a centre for learning, capacity building, and co-designing resilience strategies for communities across the country and the greater Pacific.
