The Ministry of Climate Change, Meteorology, Geo-Hazards, Energy and Environment in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Protection and Conservation (DEPC) have planted sandalwood and palm seedlings within their compounds yesterday to mark the World Environment Day (WED)...The planting of trees symbolises how significant it is to protect and conserve our environment as it is our main source of natural existence.
