
Green Climate Fund (GFC) executive director Mafalda Duarte has praised the country for preservng its forests and "doing good for the world" The fund's board spent several days in Port Moresby recently for its 42nd meeting and concluded with a trip to the Variarata Park on Friday.
Speaking at the park, Duarte said "We (GFC) are humbled to be here and experience a small portion of your cultural diversity". You (PNG) are doing good for your people and the world by preserving your forest".
