The 16 state governments received over %1.8 million out of the $15.4 collected from the Pristine Paradise Environmental Fee (PPEF) in the last 2 years, from January 2018 to September 2019...State governments also receive a portion of the PPEF fee from the Green Fee, s source if funds for the Protected Areas Network (PAN). which is also derived from the PPEF. The $100 PPEF fee is charged every passenger entering the Republic of Palau and is incorporated into the airliner ticket fare.
